Steppers and Stair Climbers
Stairclimbers were originally designed to mimic actual stair climbing. The benefits of stair climbing machines include firmer buttocks and leg muscles as well as a good overall cardiovascular workout. If you fail to use the stair climbing machine properly you may be wasting your time, however. Always maintain proper posture while using a stairmaster and try not to lean on the handrails while working out. The hand rails should only be used to maintain balance as needed. If you have or have had knee or back injuries, you should consult with your health professional before using a stepping machine as there is quite a bit of stress put on these areas while stepping.
